Aside from physical amelioration, many patients report renewed vitality and a general sense of well being in response to their homeopathic treatment.

The Consultation

1½ hours should be allowed for your first consultation. Here, I make a careful record of your complaint along with details of your medical and family history, past and present. Particularly significant are those aspects and attributes which reveal your uniqueness – your life experience, personality, values, beliefs, habits and emotions. I may also ask you some peculiar questions, for example how you react to different temperatures, things that make your symptoms better or worse, foods preferences etc. It is usual for a single remedy to be prescribed based on the homeopathic analysis of your story.

Remedies are dispensed by post within 2-5 days of your consultation. For acute situations, the remedy would be dispensed sooner.

Instructions on how to take the remedies are clearly given with each prescription. Information given is strictly confidential and will not be shared unless with your consent.

How often will I need to come?

This differs from one person to the next. I will usually ask you to return for a follow-up appointment after 2-4 weeks. 45 minutes should be allowed for follow-up consultations. Here, we assess what changes have occurred since your last remedy and decide what further treatment (if any) is required.

What about other forms of medication?

Homeopathy can be safely used alongside, or as an alternative to allopathic or herbal medicines. You will not be asked to stop taking any other medication unless it is with the consent of the person who prescribed them in the first place. Please bring details of your current medication to the initial consultation.
